Changes in the working hours of the French garden

When planning a visit to the French garden of Rundāle Palace, please take into consideration that the garden will be closing earlier on July 13 and 27.

On 13 July 2024, the palace garden will host the Gala concert of the Early Music Festival organised by the State limited liability company “Latvijas Koncerti”. This year, the cycle of violin concertos “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi, one of the most popular opuses of classical music that has experienced countless arrangements and interpretations worldwide, will once again be performed in the concert.

On 27 July, the French garden will host the ballet performance “Swan Lake” by the world-famous company “WORLDSTARS”.

“Swan Lake” is the most outstanding ballet performance created by the brilliant composer P. Tchaikovsky with choreography by M. Petipa and L. Ivanov. The ballet “Swan Lake” is the story of love and happiness, fight against the dark forces, love as the highest expression of humanity.

We would like to inform that on these dates the French garden will be open to visitors until 19:00. The last visitors will be admitted to the French garden not later than 30 minutes before the end of the working hours.

Visitors of the event will be admitted to the garden shortly before the beginning of the event.
