PAYMENT

Visitors can pay for the services at the museum in cash or with a VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro or American Express payment card at the payment card acceptance terminal.

DISCOUNTS

  • Discount of 50 % for tickets to the French garden on the first Sunday of each month;
  • Discount of 50 % for entrance tickets to the palace and the garden for newly-weds and their wedding guests on the wedding day if the marriage registration ceremony is held at Rundāle Palace;
  • Discount of 30 % for visiting the main exhibition, the French garden, and exhibitions of the Rundāle Palace Museum, upon presenting the Donor Privilege Card issued by the State Blood Donor Centre;
  • Discount of 10 % is applied for visiting the main exhibition, the French garden, and exhibitions when purchasing the service via the e-ticket system of the Rundāle Palace Museum.

FREE VISIT

Following persons are not charged the entry fee for the visit of the core exhibit, park and exhibitions:

  • children until the age of seven;
  • for Ukrainian civilians;
  • for educators/teachers accompanying a group of pre-schoolers or a group of pupils (at least 10 children or pupils in the group);
  • orphans and children without parental care, pupils of day-cares centres, crisis centres and boarding schools, as well as children institutionalised in social rehabilitation centre (upon presenting document certifying the status) and persons accompanying them (one teacher or one person per 10 children or pupils);
  • for families taking care of a disabled child or of an adult person who has not reached 24 years of age and for whom Group I or II disability has been determined (upon presenting the Latvian Honorary Family Certificate or a document certifying the disability of the person and the documents specified in the laws and regulations regarding the procedures for the implementation of the Latvian Honorary Family Certificate programme, including for an individual visit; the free ticket can be obtained at the ticket office or on the e-ticket website);
  • pupils and students of educational institutions, who are studying restoration, architecture, construction, interior design, horticulture, tourism, history of culture, visual and applied arts, museum science as a part of their educational process (upon submission of written application by the educational institution);
  • for full-time students of the Art Academy of Latvia (upon presenting a corresponding statement from the higher education institution);
  • students of Latvian vocational orientation art schools and vocational secondary art schools (upon presenting a corresponding statement from the higher education institution);
  • employees of Latvian museums (upon producing ID);
  • members of the Association of Castles and Museums around the Baltic Sea (upon producing the membership card);
  • for members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and members of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) (upon presenting the membership card);
  • holders of Honorary Card of Rundāle Palace Museum and one accompanying person (upon production of Honorary Card and identity document);
  • media representatives presenting the events in the museum (upon production of press card);
  • group (at least 10 visitors) leader (guide);
  • the fee for the tour guide permit is not collected from the guides who conduct a tour for the representatives of mass media reporting on the events at the museum (upon presenting the press card) and for the persons who organise visits promoting the museum (upon submitting a submission of the representative of the organisation);
  • organizers of visits increasing publicity of the museum (by submission of application of the representative of the organization);
  • persons taking part in voluntary work organized by the museum or museum area clean-up works (with a certificate of participation issued by the museum).
