First-time guide certification will take place in the Rundāle Palace Museum on 24 January and 21 February 2025 at 10.30 a.m. The certification process will include an oral test relevant to the narration in the exhibition rooms.

First-time certification is a requirement for obtaining a certificate which allows to guide tours in the Rundāle Palace Museum, as well as for renewing an expired certificate for tour guides who have failed to attend all Guide Information Days in the last three years.
Tours in the museum may only be led by guides certified by the Rundāle Palace Museum (and holding a valid certificate), after purchasing a tour guide permit (5 EUR).
