First-time guide certification will take place in the Rundāle Palace Museum on 13 January, 10 February and 17 March 2026 at 10.30 a.m. The certification procedure will include an oral test relevant to the narration in the museum’s exhibition rooms.

First-time certification is required for obtaining a certificate that allows to guide tours in the Rundāle Palace Museum, as well as for renewing an expired certificate for tour guides who have failed to attend all Guide Information Days over the last three years.
Tours in the museum may only be led by guides certified by the Rundāle Palace Museum (and holding a valid certificate), after purchasing a tour guide permit (5 EUR).
